Admission 2020 | DU 2020 | UG Registration Deadline Announced

Hey, there. DU has announced the online admission in it's postal on Saturday. The registration process will conclude on July 04, 2020. 

New registration open for students: 

Start Date: 20th June 2020

Closing Date: 04th July 2020


Earlier, the registration window for the DU JAT exam was expected to be closed on July 20. Applicants seeking admission 
to BMS/BA(H)BE/BBA(FIA) programs can visit the official website of Delhi University to fill the DU JAT application form. The varsity will notify the schedule for other exam-related events in due course. The entrance exam will be held in online mode at various test centers across 20 Indian cities. As the admission process has now begun, extreme care should be taken by all candidates while filling out the information in the form. Here’s everything you need to know about the steps and procedures needed to be followed to get enrolled:

  1. Visit Delhi University's official website ( to Register)
  2. Register with basic details like name, contact number, email id
  3. Use Login Credential to fill DU JAT application form
  4. Enter personal as well as academic details
  5. Select Merit-based course
  6. Select Entrance Exam
  7. Upload photograph, signature, and mark sheet
  8. Preview and submit
  9. Pay application fees

Admissions to Undergraduate Courses 2020 - 21

Admissions to undergraduate (UG) courses at the University of Delhi are merit-based (that is, based on marks scored in Class XII Board/qualifying examinations) or entrance-based (that is, based on written/practical tests depending on the course selected by an aspiring student). 

  • All applicants must register through the University of Delhi online admissions portal https://ug.du.ac.in 
  • All undergraduate admissions for 2020 - 21 will be administered only through this portal. • There is no offline admission for any applicant. 
  • Only eligible applicants who have registered online through the university portal can be considered for admission. 
  • Applicants will be required to appear in person at the University of Delhi only at the very end of the admission process, for verification of certificates as per the schedule to be announced by the University/ College. 
  • All other admission procedures are to be completed by the applicant using the unique login ID they create on the Delhi University Undergraduate admissions portal (Registration process to be announced on the University website).

Important Instructions
  1. Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the Class XII Board Marksheet
  2. Applicants can log in to the admission portal through their registered email address, only.
  3. The applicant must use his own active email address.
  4. The Email address provided by the applicant must be functional and the applicant must have access to it throughout the admission process.
  5. Applicants are encouraged to use the latest version of the Google Chrome web browser for filling the application form.
