Latest Updates:

Exams Cancelled (scheduled for 1st - 15th July)

CBSE Result for Class 10th and 12th to be released on 15th July

Now, The result on 15th will be final for class 10th student and there is no chance of improvements as per the latest updates. But, students of class 12th can apply for improvements if they wish to.

The marks assessment is based on four cases:
Case 1: Student has completed/appeared their exams before lockdown then previous year assessment criteria will be followed for these students.
For example, Ramesh has given all his five exams for class 12th before lockdown and scores

  • 92 in English,
  • 89 in Chemistry,
  • 92 in Physics,
  • 95 in Computer Science (Optional),
  • 90 in Maths.

Then Ramesh will score 92% this year.

Case 2: A student has appeared in examinations in more than 3 subjects. Then the average of the marks obtained in the best three will be awarded for examinations not conducted.
For example,  Abhinav a student of class 10 has appeared in examinations of subject English, Hindi, Maths, and Science. Now he scores

  • 95 in English
  • 87 in Hindi
  • 92 in Maths
  • 95 in Science
and examinations of Social Science and Information Technology.
Then, an average of (95+92+95/2 = 94) will be awarded for Social Science and Information Technology.

Case 3: A student has appeared only in 3 examination then the average of the best two will be awarded for examinations not conducted.
For example, Raghav a student of class 12 has appeared in examinations of English, Maths, and Chemistry. And he scores

  • 89 in Chemistry
and for exams Biology and Physics he will be awarded 92(~91.5).

Case 4: For students who have appeared in the examinations of only 1 or 2 subjects. Thir results will be declared on bases of appeared subjects and performance in internal/practical/project assessment. These students will be allowed to paper in optional exams whenever conducted.
