How can a candidate submit the application fees?
The fees can be submitted only ONLINE through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services.
Will the confirmation page remain the same for all Sessions?
Yes, a single Confirmation Page will be generated for all the session(s), the candidate applies for.
Whether one application will be submitted by a candidate for one session or more than one session or for all session(s) together?
Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate for the same Session(s) will not be accepted at any cost.
Which score will be considered in the compilation of Result and Preparation of Merit List / Ranking:
A candidate has a choice to appear in one/ more sessions. He/ she will be awarded an NTA score in each session based on his performance. The candidate’s best NTA Scores of all the sessions in which he/ she has appeared will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.
Candidate can correct/ change in his/her particulars including City of Exam Centre in the Online Application?
Yes, candidates may correct/ change his/her particulars including City of Exam Centre in the Online Application, when correction window will be opened under intimation to the candidates
through Public Notice for each Session.
Whether NTA has changed the syllabus of JEE (Main)-2021?
No, the syllabus of JEE (Main) 2021 is the same as that of the last year. However, keeping in view the decision taken by different Boards all over India, NTA has decided that there will be a total of 90 Questions in the Question Paper and candidates will be required to attempt 75 questions only. There will be no negative marking for 15 optional questions.
Whether the JEE (Main)-2021 will be held in a different medium?
Yes, drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the JEE (Main) 2021 will be conducted in
Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in
addition to Hindi and English.
