IPU CET 2018 Seat Allotment (Round 1) is releasing on 30th June 2018. Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is managed by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. IPU CET is conducted on a university level for offering admission into the various UG and PG professional courses. The candidates can get admission in the field of Engineering, Management, Law, Computer Applications, and many others.

Little about University-





Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been established by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India.

It is an affiliating and teaching University which aims at facilitating and promoting studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, law, etc., and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

In order to serve the broad purpose for which the University is established, it set out its statements of vision, mission and Quality Policy.


The detailed rules and procedure of the counselling are notified at the time of start of the counselling procedure. Only on the payment of the online counselling fee candidates are permitted for the further rounds of counselling. It is necessary for the candidates to register themselves on the official admission website of the University for participating in the counselling.

The procedure is given in following steps:





·        After a choice filling period, the seat will be allotted on the basis of merit and respective category and region.
·         Candidates can check the result from the candidate’s login account by clicking here…

·         If seat will be allotted to the candidates, then they can print the provisional seat allotment letter.
·         Candidates have to pay Rs. 40, 000/- to confirm their seats as a part of an academic fee.
·         Print the part academic fee details in the stipulated time period.

·         After sliding round candidates can generate the provisional admission slip along with enrollment number.
·         Candidates have to report the allotted college along with the admission slip, the provisional allotment letter, the academic fee receipt and necessary documents.
·         Failing to produce the required documents will automatically lead to the cancellation of admission.
·         If seats will remain vacant in the participating institutions/colleges, the university will update the status on the university website and conduct the spot round of counselling.
