First of all congratulation, you have cleared JEE Exams and scored to clear cut off 2018...

Now, it is the time to eat ripped fruit after a lot of hard work. So, you can enjoy but again a pressure to fill choices in JoSAA 2018 counselling end it soon.

You must focus For NITs and for IIITs, but also fill govt. Colleges as per your choice...

So, total numbers of choices offered to you are around 390 fill yours carefully.

So, a formatted filling for such students will be -

NIT of their state with all branches
NITs which lies most near to your house or resident...
Suggestions- if any NIT lies near to your relatives' houses then you must take it to the second option, there are many benefits such as-

Ø You will not get sick of hostel college, when bored of food can go there...

Ø Your weekends can be happier than otherwise...

Ø And, you will always have a backup of your family support...

Then you must go for good IIITs, with the branch you are interested in
Then can fill other NITs and IIITs...
Here, comes a chance for Government colleges

Now, discuss for students those got Rank above 60k and May or may not clear Advance...

So, If you cleared Advance then...

There are opportunities for IITs...

So, formatted list for such students...

You must fill good IITs at the top. As there is no such restriction, you can fill all branches it is advised to at least fill main branches and in which you are interested...
Suggestion - Don't fill new IITs on second preference...
Fill prestigious NITs on the second option that are near to your residence...
Then Fill good IIITs, with you interested branch...
New IITs here will be a great option
Now, fill left prestigious NITs.
Here’s, come a chance for Government colleges after filling left NITs and IIITs.

Now, for those just have hard luck this time,

But even now you have many NITs and IIITs...

So, a formatted filling for such students will be -

If any government College is best known for your branch then go for it...

Now, those who were not only practicing but also determinate towards their goal...

Yes, those got above 25k

So, here most of you have cleared Advance and definitely got good ranks...

Thus, here we will discuss a single category as it is assumed that the cleared Advance with flying colors…

So, formatted list for such students...

You must fill prestigious and good IITs at the top.
Suggestion - Don't fill new IITs on second preference...
Fill prestigious NITs on the second option that are near to your residence...
Then Fill good IIITs, with you ins tested branch...
New IITs here will be a great option
Now, fill left prestigious NITs.
Here’s, come the chance for government colleges after filling left NITs and IIITs.

Now, we discuss those are higher ones, birds which fly high i.e. in 15k or so...

You will surely land on good IIT or prestigious NIT...

So,

Fill best IIT for your trade as first preference...
Then,
Fill good IITs with all branch
Now fill nearby IITs
Fill all NITs as per their ranks cut offs
To be on safer side can fill few IIITs with interested trade

After such a tremendous work you just need to fill IITs and per your trade choice...

For being on safer side just can fill some NITs

About 1k just fill IITs and your trade you will surely land up to IIT...

Just fill your choice and can even fill very few choices around 5 or so...
