Delhi University Entrance-based UG Admission 2019


Apart from merit-based courses, the university also offers several undergraduate (UG) programmes based on marks obtained in the entrance examination, conducted by DU. Candidates seeking admission to such UG courses can apply through the common Web Portal for centralized registration and submit the required fees through available online payment modes.

Application process for entrance-based UG courses usually commences in the second week of May and forms are accepted until the first week of June. Candidates can download their respective Admit Card for the entrance examination from the UG admission portal and take its print-out for future use
  • In the case of BMS, BBA-FIA and BA (Economics) admission, the weight age of Joint Admission Test (JAT) and GD/PI is 85% and 15% respectively.
  • For B. Tech. (IT&M) and BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences admissions, a 2 hour MCQ based entrance test is conducted by the university. The marking pattern will be as specified by the university.
  • Admission of candidates to B.Sc. (P.E., H.E. & S) is done based on marks scored in the written examination and other tests (Fitness Test, Playing Ability Test), conducted by Delhi University.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to B.El.Ed. and BA (Hons) MMMC programme on the basis of their performance in the university entrance test.


Note: In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one course, he/she must fill a separate registration form and pay a separate registration fee for every course. However, the same Login details shall be used for all the registration forms filled by the candidate.
