DU Admission 2019: Delhi University Application Form, Eligibility, Dates


Delhi University (DU) is a public central collegiate university which offers admission in multiple specializations under various undergraduate (UG) courses (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Tech) and postgraduate (PG) courses (MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Tech) based on qualifying degree merit/ Entrance Examination marks. Known for its high standards in teaching and research, Delhi University is one of the largest universities in India with 77 affiliated colleges spread all over Delhi.

Delhi University Registration Process 2019



Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University courses can apply online through the official registration portal by following the below-mentioned steps:
  • As a first time user, the candidate shall navigate to the “New Applicant Sign Up” to create the user account by clicking on the “New Registration” link.
  • Under the “Create New Account” page, the candidate should fill in all the required details.
  • Candidate should verify his/her email-id and Password as henceforth, it will be used for admission purposes.
  • Finally, the candidate should click the “Register” button to create a new user account.
  • A confirmation will be sent to the registered email account/mobile number upon the creation of the registration account.
  • Once registered, the applicant should log on to the UG/PG/Ph.D. admission portal to complete the online registration form.
  • Under the “Registered Applicant Sign In” tab, the candidate shall enter “registered email-id” as username and the “password”.
  • Upon logging in, the candidate must complete the registration form divided among the following nine sections:
  1. Personal Details, Bank Details
  2. Academic Details
  3. Merit-Based Course Selection
  4. Entrance Based Course Selection
  5. Sports – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through Sports Quota.
  6. ECA – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through ECA Quota.
  7. Uploads – Passport size photograph, Signature, Class X certificate/marksheet, Self-attested Class XII marksheet, Self-attested certificates
  8. Preview – In this section, the applicant can preview the completed application.
  9. Payment Section – In this section, the applicant can proceed to the online registration payment
Note: There is no extra registration fee for applying to multiple courses. Also, the applicant can update information in the application form by revisiting the applicant’s account till the last date of registration but before the payment of the online registration fee.
