JoSAA Mock Allotment 2019 & Seat Allotment

JOSAA 2019: Joint Seat Allocation Authority is conducting the counseling of JoSAA 2019. So the candidates who have appeared in JEE (Main) 2019 are eligible to register for seat allocation in NIT while those who qualified for JEE Advanced are eligible for seat allocation in all participating institutes including IITs. Candidates can register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) from the official website by clicking here...

JoSAA  Mock Allotment 2019

JoSAA 2019 Mock Allotment is conducted before the actual seat allocation. Mock Allotment helps candidates to know their chances in their desired colleges based on their rank and preference. Post knowing this, candidates can then modify their selected choices of colleges and courses accordingly.

JoSAA Seat Allotment 2019

After two mock allocations, Final JoSAA 2019 will be held in 7 rounds. The registered candidates will be allocated seats based on the performance in the qualifying examination (JEE Main or JEE Advanced) and choices filled during registration. Candidates will be able to view the seat allotment result by logging into their account using their application number and password.
The provisional allotment letter has to be downloaded by the candidate and the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 35,000 (general) and 15,000 (SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD) is to be paid. Once the seat acceptance fees are paid, candidates will have to report to the reporting center (RC) for document verification.

However, if a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted to him/her they will have the following options to proceed further.
  • FloatingThis option is for those candidates who wish to accept the offered seat but also looking for graduation if admissions are open in a better/higher preferred college or course.
  • Freezing: If a candidate exercises this option, it will indicate that the candidate has accepted the allotted seats and does not wish to participate in further rounds.
  • Sliding: If this option is used, it will mean that candidates have accepted the allotted seat, however, if admissions are open in a better course in the same institute then he/she will go for upgradation.

Lastly, all the candidates will have to report to their allotted colleges to confirm their admission by paying the remaining academic fees.

Balanced Brackets

1. You are given a string exp representing an expression. 2. You are required to check if the expression is balanced i.e. closing brackets and opening brackets match up well. e.g. [(a + b) + {(c + d) * (e / f)}] -> true [(a + b) + {(c + d) * (e / f)]} -> false [(a + b) + {(c + d) * (e / f)} -> false ([(a + b) + {(c + d) * (e / f)}] -> false Input Format A string str Output Format true or false Constraints 0 <= str.length <= 100 Sample Input [(a + b) + {(c + d) * (e / f)}] Sample Output true Solution import java.io.*; import java.util.*; public class Main {     public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {         Scanner sc = new Scanner(System.in);         String str = sc.nextLine();         int n = str.length();         Stack<Character> s = new Stack<>();         for(int i=0;i<n;i++){             char ch = str.charAt(i);             if(ch == '[')                 s.push(']');             else if(ch == '{'
